Baltinglass Senior Football Team visited Scoil Naomh Iósaf on Monday morning following their tremendous win in the Wicklow Senior Football Championship against St. Pats on Sunday.
There was great excitement in the P.E. hall as the children cheered and welcomed the team, many of whom are past pupils of Scoil Naomh Iósaf. We gave the team high fives and some children had a chance to hold the cup. The team also visited the Junior and Senior infant classrooms.
We are proud of Mr. Walshe who is part of the management team that trained and mentored the team to make their dream a reality. The staff and pupils of Scoil Naomh Iósaf wish the team every success in the Leinster Championship on October 30th. Ár frása na seachtaine ná 'Tá bród an domhain orthu'.
