Run Around Ireland Challenge 2021
In April and May 2021, all classes from Junior Infants to Sixth participated in the 'Run Aound Ireland Challenge'. Each day the children chose a destination e.g. The Giant's Causeway. They calculated how far from this school this destination was and then they ran the number of kilometres it would take to get there! The  Giant's Causeway is 255 kilometres away from our school, so between them each class had to run 255 laps of the yard to get there! The children loved the challenge of running to a different 'virtual' destination each day and improved their fitness and running speed in the process. We hope to take part in the Run Around Ireland Challenge again in 2022 as part of Active Schools.

As part of Active Schools Week, all classes are taking part in Drop Everything and Dance! In Junior Infants that means dancing to our favourite songs on GoNoodle. Our favourite one is Pop See Ko!
