Lambs visit Junior and Senior Infants

This week there were some interesting visitors to Scoil Naomh Ioasf! The Infant classes were visited by three lambs, Chloe, Bebe and Katie! We all enjoyed getting to pet and hold the lambs. All the children and their teachers, Ms. Beirne, Ms. Murtagh and Ms. Stapleton, would like to say a big thank you to Ms. Burchill, Dinny and Bridget for organising the visit.

Fruit Tasting and Smoothie Making

Some of the boys and girls have been learning about different fruits and vegetables. We really enjoyed trying new and different fruits and making tasty fruit smoothies.

This month, Junior Infants will be…

engaging in pretend play as vets in the Role Play Area
writing about our pets in the Writing Area
creating hungry caterpillars in the Creative Area
making animals in the Playdough Area
continuing our Small World play about life on the farm
exploring magnets and investigating magnetic materials in the Investigative/Sensory Area

We also got to use some real stethoscopes to listen to our heartbeat!
